Why WooCommerce Emails Stop

Order emails and notifications stop for a handful of common reasons. Here is how we track them down quickly.

1. SMTP not configured

Most hosts block default PHP mail. Set up SMTP and test delivery with a plugin.

2. Cron not running

WooCommerce uses WP-Cron for scheduled tasks. If cron is disabled or blocked, emails will queue forever.

3. Email template conflicts

Custom templates or outdated overrides can break email rendering and stop sends.

4. Plugin conflicts

Disable custom email and cache plugins briefly to isolate conflicts.
